Biohacker Who Used Son’s Blo*d to ‘Reverse Aging’ Makes Unusual Admission About His ‘Daily Routine’

A biohacker, Bryan Johnson, who has gone as far as using his son’s blood in an effort to reverse aging, has shared some unusual details about his daily routine. The 47-year-old Silicon Valley entrepreneur claims that through lifestyle changes, therapies, and treatments, he’s managed to “hack” the aging process. Johnson says these efforts have given him the “heart of a 37-year-old” and the “lung capacity of an 18-year-old,” suggesting that his methods go well beyond just hydration and sleep.

Johnson has been transparent about the procedures he’s undergone, including DNA editing, self-injecting stem cells, and undergoing blood exchanges with his son. Recently, he gave insight into what a typical day looks like for him, revealing that reversing age demands constant, unconventional effort.

On Twitter, Johnson shared a list of activities he completed on Monday, October 14, beginning with filling two glass vials with his semen, followed by dabbing it onto a dried blood spot card. He also described filling “five tubes with [his] stool,” along with doing a cheek swab, pricking his fingers 10 times, starting blood glucose monitoring, and undergoing a total plasma exchange, where his plasma was replaced with Albumin.

Though it might sound extreme to some, Johnson emphasized that this was just a “typical day.” He works with a team of medical experts who monitor his health as he experiments with these procedures. In a follow-up post, Johnson explained that the goal of removing his plasma was to rid his body of toxins. He mentioned that the operator, who had been doing plasma exchanges for nine years, remarked that Johnson’s plasma was the cleanest he had ever seen and struggled to discard it, imagining the good it could do.

Alongside these invasive procedures, Johnson follows a strict daily routine that includes tracking his body fat and heart rate, taking various medications and vitamins, and maintaining a highly controlled diet.
