Rapper Blueface is Currently Serving a Four-year Jail Sentence.

Rapper Blueface has officially started his four-year prison sentence after being transferred from Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in central California. TMZ released a new mugshot of the rapper taken on Thursday as he entered the medium-security facility’s general population.

Despite his success in music, the prison provides various programs aimed at helping inmates reintegrate into society, such as Adult Basic Education, GED preparation, and vocational training, along with religious services, self-help groups, and substance abuse programs.

Blueface’s sentence follows a probation violation tied to a 2021 assault charge, leading to a four-year term issued last month. After turning himself in in January, he has remained in custody. North Kern’s staff will assess his background, medical and psychological history, and social relationships to determine appropriate work and educational opportunities during his sentence.
