On September 6, singer Skales vented his frustration at airline officials after his flight was canceled due to the pilot’s illness.

In a video rant, Skales alleged that the cancellation resulted in a loss of N15 million. He posted:

“@greenafrica__ unbelievable! I booked a flight to Akure, checked in early, and then you cancel it because your pilot is sick? I’ve lost money—I was supposed to receive 15 million naira from @seyivodi. Was the pilot’s illness known beforehand, or is this a cruel joke? You waited until it was time to board to inform us. I just can’t believe this. This country… we’ll see.”
