Nigerian businessman Monday Ovye Arigu has encouraged women to associate with successful individuals and commit only to men who show potential, arguing that a man who cannot support his partner does not truly love her.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, he wrote: “Ladies, a man who cannot support you doesn’t genuinely love you. If he asks, ‘What has your father done for you?’ respond by saying that affliction shall not arise again! Make sure you are comfortable with the man you choose. Your aim is to build a better life, so surround yourself with successful people and commit only to men who have prospects.”
