Located just beyond Land’s End, you’ll find one of the “world’s most hidden beaches.” The southernmost point of Cornwall naturally brings to mind remote serenity, making it a fitting location for such a secluded beach.
Nanijzal Beach, a rocky sanctuary situated just south of Land’s End in the far west of Cornwall, has been ranked as the world’s second most secluded beach by Sunsail.
The group evaluated various factors such as ease of access, internet search frequency, connectivity, noise levels, and facilities to determine the most isolated beaches. Beaches that are infrequently searched on social media are less known to the public, leading experts to conclude “the fewer people are aware of them.”
Similarly, beaches with poor mobile reception were rated highly for offering a “digital detox.” The report explained, “Beaches are scored on these criteria with a maximum of 17 points. The lower the score, the more secluded and remote the beach is considered.”
Nanjizal Beach, with its remote and relatively inaccessible location, remains one of the UK’s most pristine beaches. However, with the rise of Instagram, it is gradually attracting attention from those eager to capture its beauty in photographs.
Usually, the beach is a tranquil spot visited primarily by hikers exploring the coastal trail. However, what distinguishes this beach is the extraordinary color of its waters.
