Nwachi Viktor Chukwuemeka, a Nigerian man, has encouraged people to prioritize their health following the sudden death of his friend, Daniel Obiora. Obiora, an IT and forensic expert, collapsed and passed away in his bathroom on Monday, October 21, 2024.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Chukwuemeka wrote, “I made this post on Sunday morning, and my senior friend, Daniel Obiora, was the first to comment. Later that evening, I learned he had collapsed in his bathroom and died.”
He added, “I don’t know what’s been happening lately, but I urge everyone to take their health seriously as we go through each day. Daniel was an extraordinary person.”
Chukwuemeka shared that they met online during a case involving a lawyer named Ugwuonye, who was defrauding others. Obiora used his IT and forensic expertise to expose the lawyer’s crimes. When Chukwuemeka visited for his mother’s 80th birthday, Obiora insisted on meeting him and came to his hotel. Despite their age difference, Obiora always showed him great respect, calling him ‘sir,’ right up to his last comment on Chukwuemeka’s post that Sunday.
Chukwuemeka expressed his difficulty in coming to terms with Obiora’s passing and concluded, “If anyone knows how to contact his wonderful family, please let me know. He truly loved his wife, and they had a joyful marriage. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.”
