Portable W@rns VeryDarkMan: “I’ll B£nd and M£nd You; Online Isn’t Real Life” (Video)

Musician Portable has responded to VeryDarkMan (VDM), who criticized him for allegedly assaulting a man during Felabration, an event honoring the late Afrobeat icon, Fela.

VDM had posted a video showing Portable hitting a man in a restroom, expressing his disapproval of the incident and urging Portable to stop assaulting people.

In a video shared on Instagram, Portable fired back, suggesting he could confront VDM in person:

“Online madness is different from real-life madness. I’ll break you down, fix you up, even cripple you. I’m a one-man army. If I catch you… You’re trying to threaten me from Abuja. Go ask about me in Maraba Nyanya, use Babangida market, ask about Lagos boy.”

Portable also clarified the altercation with the man he allegedly assaulted:

“My fans, you should understand who I was dealing with. It was a direct fight, man to man. This guy took money for up to five shows and disappeared with my money for six months. He took the money for my shows. Are you my manager?”

Portable also claimed that VDM had negatively impacted his business relationships with influential people who usually support him and other Nigerian entertainers.
