The Lagos State Police Command PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, has announced that the police officers recorded harassing corps members in Surulere are currently under interrogation.
He shared this information on X in response to a video showing uniformed officers in a heated confrontation with the corps members. The user who posted the video also claimed that the officers extorted N1 million from them.
In his response, Hundeyin stated, “They are officers from Area C, Surulere. The Area Commander has been informed. The men have been identified and are being interrogated.
“However, we require more than just verbal accusations. Please provide additional details. A spy camera would have captured any money exchange, whether in cash or via transfer. We need concrete evidence to proceed. Updates on the ongoing interrogation will be provided.”
