A Nigerian woman, Ada Egede, has urged married women to refrain from engaging in extramarital affairs for money to support their husbands and children.
“These days, children are no longer seen as gifts from God. Have only the ones you can care for and stop compromising your values just to support your irresponsible husband and his children,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“After sacrificing so much to help your husband with his responsibilities, you’ll still end up being disrespected.”
“Married women, starting a small business, like selling beans and roasted plantains, is a viable option.
“The things I see and hear about women, especially married ones, are truly heartbreaking.”
