Eligibility Criteria for Monash University Scholarship 2024

To qualify for the Monash University Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• English Language Test Requirements for General: A minimum overall score of 6.5 in IELTS (with no band lower than 6.0), or a TOEFL score of 79+ with at least 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
• English Language Test Requirements for Arts, Business, and Economics: A minimum overall score of 7 in IELTS (with no band lower than 6.5), or a TOEFL score of 94+ with at least 19 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 24 in Writing.

• A master’s degree involving work, usually including a significant research component that is at least 25% of one full-time equivalent year of work, including a thesis. A grade of honours 2A is typically expected for the research thesis or project. If ungraded, examiners’ reports will be considered;
• Qualifications deemed equivalent by the Graduate Research Committee (GRC).
