Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has made history as the highest-scoring African player in UEFA Champions League history, with a total of 45 goals.
The 32-year-old Egyptian forward reached this milestone by scoring in the 75th minute, securing a crucial win for Liverpool over Bologna on Wednesday, September 2.

With 45 Champions League goals, Salah surpasses Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba, who scored 44, and Cameroon icon Samuel Eto’o, who ranks third with 35 goals.
