A man has shared that he gave up his spot in the US visa lottery for his jobless roommate in 2005/2006. He explained that, while supporting his unemployed friend, he decided to use his lottery slot to help him apply.
Their agreement was that if the slot won and his friend traveled, he would assist him in migrating as well. The slot won, and his friend successfully moved to the United States.
Since then, the man claims his friend has completely ignored him, despite his attempts to reconnect. He later found the friend’s wife and reached out, only to learn that she had left her husband due to his mistreatment.
