New Information Surfaces on Rumors Linking Diddy to Actor Jamie Foxx’s 2023 Hospitalization

New information has emerged surrounding rumors that rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was involved in actor Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization in 2023.

The 56-year-old Foxx was working on his upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was, when three eyewitnesses at the tapings shared with Page Six that Foxx mentioned allegations linking Diddy, 54, to his medical incident. Two of these sources claimed Foxx indicated Diddy was to blame and that he “reported [Combs] to the FBI,” who is currently in custody facing s*x trafficking charges.

A source close to Diddy, however, insisted there is “no truth to the idea that Sean Combs caused Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization.”

It’s uncertain whether Foxx’s remarks were intended humorously or how the audience interpreted them. Last week, celebrity security guard Big Homie .CC claimed in an interview that Foxx was “poisoned” by Diddy and had subsequently alerted the FBI.

Big Homie .CC told Page Six that his comments were based on hearing Foxx’s story firsthand at two comedy shows, which he attended with a client.

Videographer Choke No Joke, who attended Foxx’s performances in Atlanta on Oct. 4, 5, and 6 at the Alliance Theatre, shared in an interview that Foxx stated during the shows that “Diddy was responsible for what happened to him” and that Foxx reported Combs to the FBI.

It remains uncertain if these statements will appear in the final cut of the special. When asked if Foxx was joking, Choke responded, “I don’t think he was joking.”

Foxx reportedly remarked, “Diddy did something to me,” adding that he contacted federal authorities, possibly out of concern for his safety.

After Diddy’s arrest, Foxx was seen publicly at a Dallas Cowboys game and later resumed work on his special, in which Diddy is prominently featured.

Choke claimed that Foxx and Diddy were once close friends but that a rift had allegedly formed. In his statement to Page Six, Choke expressed surprise that Foxx aired these allegations, despite rumors circulating within the industry.

However, Dennis L.A. White, another attendee, recalled a different version of events. White remembered Foxx saying, “People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible. If he was, I would’ve been dead.” White did not recall any mention of the FBI, though Foxx did make jokes about Combs.

After the tapings, Foxx posted photos from the stage on Instagram, along with a message of gratitude to Atlanta and Piedmont Hospital for helping him recover and expressing his joy at returning to the stage.
