Reflecting on the loss of his mother, Lynn, who passed away in 2019 from pancreatic cancer, Garfield says, “I’ve been thinking about my mom today. She passed away not too long ago, and I miss her a lot.” He explained that missing someone is a sign of love, adding, “That sadness is a gift because it means you really loved someone. Remembering the cuddles and hugs from my mom helps me feel close to her in a special way.”
