Habib Salau, a Senior Secondary School student at Akoko Anglican Grammar School in Arigidi, Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, was fatally st*bbed by a female classmate known as Sandra.
An eyewitness reported that the two got into a fight after school hours last Thursday.
“During the altercation, the suspect st*bbed the deceased with a kn!fe,” the source stated.
Habib’s body has been placed in the mortuary at Specialist Hospital in Ikare.
Reports indicate that Sandra admitted the kn!fe used was provided by a student from Ajiroke Technical School.
A teacher described the event as trag!c and said the school community is in a state of panic.
The command spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, confirmed the incident, noting that the case has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for comprehensive investigation.
The PPRO assured that the police investigation will reveal the details surrounding the student’s death.
