25-Year-Old Man Arrested for Fatally St*bbing Father in Lagos
A 25-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Lagos police for allegedly st*bbing his 68-year-old father to death. The trag!c incident occurred on the night of Thursday, October 3, around 10:00 p.m., in the Isolo area, according to Lagos Police Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.
Hundeyin revealed that the suspect’s brother alerted the Aswani Police Divisional Station after receiving a call from a neighbor about a dispute between the suspect and their father, who both lived together.
“When the complainant arrived at his father’s house, he found him lying lifeless in a p*ol of blood,” Hundeyin stated.
Police swiftly responded to the report, arresting the suspect at the scene. Investigators found a blood-stained knife near the body, and after taking photographs, the vict!m was transported to General Hospital, Isolo, where doctors confirmed his death. The body was then taken to the mortuary.
The suspect has since confessed to the crime, and further investigations are ongoing.
