2pac’s Family Hire Lawyer For Investigation of Diddy’s Connection To 2pac’s Death

Renowned New York attorney Alex Spiro has confirmed that he has been hired by the family of the late rapper Tupac Shakur to investigate potential links between Shakur’s 1996 murder and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. This comes at a time when Combs is embroiled in multiple legal battles, including lawsuits alleging sexual assault, rape, and human trafficking. Additionally, federal authorities have filed a three-count indictment against Combs, accusing him of kidnapping and trafficking women.

Spiro told Court TV that his investigation will focus on examining Combs’ potential involvement in Tupac’s fatal shooting in Las Vegas. While the case had remained unsolved for decades, a major development occurred in 2023 with the arrest of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who was charged in connection with Shakur’s murder. Davis had previously implicated Combs in the plot to kill Shakur, further deepening suspicions about the music executive’s role.

Testimony from a detective during the grand jury proceedings that indicted Davis revealed that Marion “Suge” Knight Jr., who was also wounded in the same shooting that killed Shakur, allegedly claimed Combs was responsible—either directly or indirectly—for the rapper’s death.

As Combs faces mounting legal challenges, other figures in the hip-hop community have begun questioning his involvement not only in Shakur’s murder but also in the 1997 killing of Christopher Wallace, known as “The Notorious B.I.G.,” who was shot just months after Tupac, intensifying speculation around the unresolved tragedies of both rap legends.

In his latest track “Fuel,” Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, addresses the unresolved murders of hip-hop legends Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Through provocative lyrics, Eminem suggests a possible link between their deaths, hinting at a chain of events with an implied reference to Sean “Diddy” Combs. He raises a rhetorical question about who might be held accountable next, indirectly pointing toward Diddy.

This isn’t the first time Eminem has hinted at Diddy’s potential involvement in Tupac’s murder. In his 2018 diss track “Killshot,” he controversially implied that Diddy had a role in orchestrating the hit on Tupac, though he quickly added that Diddy would never admit to it.

It’s crucial to note that Diddy has consistently denied any involvement in Shakur’s death over the years, and these accusations have never led to formal charges against him. Eminem’s lyrics, however, reflect the persistent conspiracy theories and speculation that have long surrounded these m*rders, illustrating how deeply they continue to resonate within the hip-hop community and inspire artistic commentary.
