LASTMA Launches Investigation into Viral Video of Young Content Creators Filming in Traffic on Victoria Island

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has initiated an investigation into a viral video featuring two young content creators filming while stuck in traffic on Victoria Island.

In the video, the creators are seen exiting their car and recording themselves amidst the traffic.

In a statement posted on social media, LASTMA said:

“The attention of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has been drawn to a viral video on social media showing two individuals in a grey Camry (AAA 62 EL) performing a scene on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, without official authorization.

The Agency assures the public that an investigation has commenced, and appropriate action will be taken based on the vehicle’s registration number, in strict accordance with the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law of 2018.”
