Manchester City defender Kyle Walker’s estranged wife, Annie Kilner, has reportedly filed for divorce after years of marriage, following repeated scandals involving his infidelity.
Kyle, 34, married his childhood sweetheart Annie, 33, in 2021, but their relationship has been strained due to a paternity scandal involving influencer Lauryn Goodman, with whom he secretly fathered two children during brief affairs.
Annie initially forgave Kyle after his first affair but found it difficult to continue the relationship when he was unfaithful again with Lauryn. She discovered Kyle was the father of Lauryn’s second child after receiving a distressing message on December 27, while pregnant with her fourth child with Kyle. The message read, “Hey, it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter.”
After this revelation, Annie and Kyle briefly separated. Sources now claim their relationship is definitively over, and Annie is reportedly preparing to seek half of Kyle’s £27 million fortune. The couple, who met in school, are said to no longer be communicating, and Kyle has also sought legal advice. Annie allegedly served him with divorce papers ten days ago, and although they still live in the same house, they are sleeping in separate rooms.
A source told The Sun, “Kyle was shocked when he received the papers. They’ve spoken about it, and they’re discussing the next steps. This doesn’t necessarily mean they will divorce—Annie wants Kyle to know she’s serious, but it could backfire if it’s just a bluff.”
Another source told MailOnline, “Annie is divorcing Kyle because she can’t forgive him. She has tried but can’t get over it. Kyle seems to have accepted it’s over, and he’s been happier lately, as if a weight has been lifted.”
Despite the turmoil, Walker appeared unfazed and was seen playing golf in Cheshire recently. He has publicly expressed regret for his actions, admitting, “What I’ve done is horrible, and I take full responsibility for my idiotic choices.”
A source told The Mirror that Annie and Kyle hope to resolve the situation privately, but their attempts have been hampered by media attention, particularly from Lauryn. Kyle has accepted responsibility for his mistakes and continues to financially support the children he shares with Lauryn.
