A baby girl was fatally maul*d by the family dog at home, police reported today. The seven-month-old was taken to the hospital on Sunday afternoon with severe head injuries but unfortunately did not survive.
The dog, not classified as a dangerous breed, was put down by police who arrived at the scene.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson stated: “Trag!cally, a baby has d!ed after being bitten by a pet dog at a home in Coventry.”
