Tensions Rise Between Offset and Cardi B
Offset and Cardi B’s relationship has taken a turn for the worse. The couple, who married in 2017 and have three children together, had previously announced their divorce shortly before the birth of their youngest child.
Initially, their split was described as “amicable,” with sources stating that they had simply grown apart, and infidelity was not a factor in their decision. An insider told Page Six, “That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
However, the situation has since escalated. In an Instagram Live video on September 25, Cardi appeared to reference her estranged husband while discussing threats regarding her hard-earned possessions. She stated, “You wanna’ play those games with me? We gon’ play those games too. Since you wanna’ threaten me and talk about taking my sh*t.” Cardi suggested that these threats have arisen as she begins to move on.
During the livestream, Offset, 32, dropped a shocking allegation, stating, “U f***ked with a baby inside tell the truth !!” After wrapping up the video, Cardi tweeted “AND DID !!!!!!” Although it’s unclear if her post directly responded to Offset’s claims, it certainly sparked speculation.
Cardi’s representatives have been contacted for comment. The news of her divorce from Offset surfaced just before she announced her latest pregnancy. Shortly after their breakup announcement, Cardi shared photos on Instagram showcasing her growing baby bump.
“With every ending comes a new beginning,” the 31-year-old began her post. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you; you’ve brought me more love, more life, and, above all, renewed my power! You’ve reminded me that I can have it all and that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
Cardi went on to say, “I love you so much and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me achieve, what you inspired me to do! It’s much easier to navigate life’s twists and turns while lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth pushing through!”
The couple has since welcomed another baby girl, though they have yet to reveal her name.
