Several players from the Kano Pillars FC U-19 team were hospitalized following injuries sustained in a road accident on Tuesday, October 22. The team was en route to the New Jos Stadium for their Matchday 5 fixture in the inaugural U-19 Youth League against Plateau United U-19 when the accident occurred.
The team’s media directorate reported that several players, along with the driver, were injured and have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
