A Shari’a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, ordered Aminu Adamu on Thursday not to enter his ex-wife’s bedroom to see their children.
Judge Anas Khalifa issued the ruling after confirming the three divorce pronouncements made by Adamu to his former wife, Jamila Sani.
“There is no marriage between you and her due to the divorce pronouncement. You must avoid meeting her in private,” the judge stated. “If you wish to see your children, do so outside her room.”
The judge also directed Adamu to continue providing for his children’s needs, including food, school fees, shelter, and healthcare.
Earlier, Ms. Sani requested the court to confirm the three divorce pronouncements made by Adamu in June and to grant her custody of their children. Adamu also pledged to give his former wife N15,000 weekly for the children’s feeding.
