Justin Bieber fans have taken to social media to speculate about possible references to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ parties in the singer’s ‘Yummy’ music video.
Warning: This article contains allegations of s*xual assault that may be distressing to some readers.
Online discussions have suggested that the video contains coded messages. One theory revolves around a scene featuring a piece of bread and a cherry arranged in a peculiar pattern on a table.
TikTok user Alexis Mae (@alexismae.xo) pointed out, “The placement of the bread looks almost like a shield. If you look closely, there’s a cherry there, so the bread seems set up to protect the cherry.” Fans interpret the cherry as a symbol of virginity, suggesting a veiled reference to protecting ‘innocence.’
Mae also noted that later in the video, the bread resembles “a face with a tongue sticking out,” while the cherry appears to be rotten. The video concludes with a cleared plate featuring a childhood photo of Bieber, leading Mae to suggest that the party environment resembles a ‘white party’ typically thrown by Combs.
Many fans supported this speculation, with one commenting, “We had this conversation years ago, where were y’all?” Another added, “I remember diving into this rabbit hole during the pandemic, and nobody believed it.” However, some were more skeptical, with one user stating, “Y’all are reaching.”
Bieber’s connection to Combs dates back to the early days of his career, where Combs appeared to mentor the young star. This relationship has gained renewed attention following Combs’ recent arrest and the multiple allegations against him.
Combs was taken into custody at a New York hotel on September 16 and is currently facing federal charges, including s*x traff!cking and racketeer!ng. Prosecutors allege that he created a criminal enterprise and coerced women to fulfill his s*xual desires while threatening them to protect his reputation.
As of now, 11 individuals have come forward with allegations against Combs, some dating back to the 1990s. The latest accuser, Thalia Graves, claims that Combs and his bodyguard bound, drvgged, and r*ped her in 2001 while filming the assault. Combs has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.
