In 2013, Hollywood actor George Clooney shocked 14 of his closest friends, known among themselves as “The Boys,” by giving each of them $1 million in cash. This included a friend who let him sleep on his sofa when George had nothing. What’s unique is that the 14 were all men.
Clooney invited the 14 friends to his house for dinner. When they arrived, each person found a suitcase at their seat. Inside these suitcases was $1 million each.
Clooney told them that they had all been there for him when he needed them, some let him sleep on their couches, helped him when he had no money, or supported him when he was a struggling actor.
