Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the eldest son of former Kaduna State Governor, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has died.
He was involved in a fatal accident on the Kaduna-Zaria highway on the evening of Saturday, October 12.
Faisal was taken to an undisclosed hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His father, who was at the hospital, promptly arranged for his body to be taken home for burial preparations, according to reports from Daily Trust.
Faisal was a civil engineer. He attended Kaduna International School and completed his secondary education at Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State. He obtained both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Greenwich in London and was pursuing a PhD there.
Nigerians have taken to Facebook to express their condolences and mourn his passing.
