Hailie Jade Scott, the daughter of rapper Eminem, married her longtime partner Evan McClintock in a stunning ceremony. Music icons Dr. Dre and 50 Cent were among the attendees. Fans of the “Real Slim Shady” were excited about the news, which the 28-year-old influencer announced on Instagram on Monday, May 20th.
Hailie Jade Scott, frequently mentioned in her father’s hit songs over twenty times, is also known to fans through one of Eminem’s prominent tattoos featuring her childhood image on his upper arm.
In a recent Instagram post showcasing her wedding photos, Hailie shared her happiness, saying, “Starting this week as a wife has been amazing.” She described the event as a wonderfully beautiful weekend filled with tears of joy, laughter, smiles, and an overwhelming sense of love.
She added, “Evan and I are incredibly grateful to all our family and friends who traveled to celebrate with us and support us as we begin this exciting new chapter as husband and wife.”
The wedding, characterized as an intimate gathering, was held in Battle Creek, Michigan, at Greencrest Manor, according to TMZ.
Among the notable guests were music legends 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and former Beats Electronics CEO Jimmy Iovine. Eminem and his daughter shared a memorable father-daughter dance during the celebration.
Hailie Jade Scott and Evan McClintock met at Michigan State University in 2016, where she studied psychology and he studied economics. Since then, Hailie has become an influencer and the host of the ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, while Evan has become an enterprise growth executive, as reported by People magazine.
In February of last year, the influencer announced their engagement by sharing proposal photos along with a playful caption, “casual weekend recap… I love you,” accompanied by a crying face emoji, heart, and ring. McClintock had previously mentioned that he obtained the rapper’s blessing to marry his daughter during the holiday celebrations, which coincided with Scott’s birthday and Christmas.
“I saw your dad head downstairs, and I thought, ‘I have to do it now, or it won’t happen today, and I’ll have to reschedule’,” he told his fiancée on her podcast. “So, I followed him downstairs, and luckily, he was just getting your cake, which gave me the perfect opportunity.”
