Doctors Successfully Remove Large Glass Jar from Man’s Bowel After Delicate Surgery
Doctors have successfully extracted a large glass jar from a man’s bowel following a complex surgery that carries a significant risk of death.
The man had inserted the glass jar into his anus during an unusual s*xual encounter, putting himself at r!sk of severe bleeding or fatal organ damage if the glass had shattered inside him. Fortunately, the medical team was able to remove the jar intact, preventing any shards from breaking loose.
Representatives from the hospital in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, emphasized the importance of not judging patients for their unconventional sexual practices. “Remember that doctors are not the morality police,” stated hospital spokesperson Alexey Nikonov.
The case, reported by The Sun, included X-ray images showing the jar lodged deep inside the man’s rectum, slowly progressing toward the upper bowel. In addition to the glass jar, doctors were able to retrieve a condom and lubricant.
Nikonov further noted that despite Russia’s stringent anti-LGBT laws, individuals should not hesitate to seek medical assistance if they find themselves in similar circumstances.
