Born on July 10, 1993, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Andrew lived with his family in the Balby area. A bright student, he was part of his school’s gifted and talented programme. His parents weren’t aware of any bullying, and he had a small circle of friends.
On September 14, 2007, Andrew’s life took a dramatic turn. Instead of going to school, he withdrew £200 from his bank account, changed clothes at home, and boarded a train to London King’s Cross. CCTV footage at the station captured him arriving at 11:25 a.m.

Seventeen years later, no credible leads or sightings have emerged. His family has explored several theories, such as Andrew visiting London for sightseeing, a band concert, or job hunting, like his older sister had done. However, none of these theories have yielded results. Police also ruled out the possibility that Andrew went to meet an online friend, as they found no evidence of him using email or having accounts on his PSP and Xbox.
In 2022, there was an apparent breakthrough when two men were arrested by South Yorkshire Police on suspicion of k!dnapping and human traff!cking. However, they were found to be unconnected to Andrew’s case and were released.
As of 2024, there are still no confirmed sightings or new leads, leaving Andrew’s case one of the most baffling missing person cases in the UK. His parents, Kevin and Glenys Gosden, have not given up hope. After 17 years, they made the emotional decision to renovate Andrew’s room.
