Members of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have apprehended two individuals in Lagos for allegedly possessing suspected human t*ngues.
The Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, announced this in a statement on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The suspects, Isah Amohullahi, a 30-year-old male, and Abubakar Isah, a 32-year-old male, were detained in a taxi during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola Bridge on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of a third suspect, Gbolahan Temidayo, who allegedly sold them the human parts, at Oyingbo Market, Lagos.
The investigation is currently ongoing at the Command headquarters, and the suspects will be charged if found guilty.
