Actor Van Vicker and his wife, Adjoa, celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary today, October 16. In a social media post, Van reflected on the keys to their successful marriage, expressing that he has no regrets about marrying and staying with his wife. He wrote:
“Today marks our 21st wedding anniversary.
I thank God for this.
Marriage is like a bed of thorny roses 😁.
There are incredibly beautiful moments and tough times.
In every moment, ‘THE WILL’ is vital.
Choosing the ‘right’ person is key (truly knowing your partner).
Staying ‘in love’ is important (beyond just ‘loving’ your spouse).
For me, it’s also about the ‘desire’ to remain married (without any abuse).
These elements help navigate through the thorns among the roses.
Even though there are challenges, the internal strength keeps you moving forward day by day, year by year.
Despite the thorns, love remains a beautiful thing.
I have no regrets about being married and staying married.
I pray for Grace to continue this amazing journey.
