Princess Jemaimah, a Nigerian pastor’s wife and lawyer, recently reaffirmed her faith in God and her dedication to preaching chastity after enduring her third pregnancy loss. In a Facebook post on October 13, she shared that her doctor attributed her repeated stillbirths to multiple fibroids in her womb, which developed due to long-term chastity.
She reflected on the approaching one-year anniversary of her last stillbirth, and revealed that just a day prior, she had undergone a procedure to remove another child who had died in her womb. The loss on Friday left her feeling traumatized and questioning her faith, but during six hours of sedation for the D&C, she felt God’s loving presence, offering her comfort.
While unconscious, her husband recorded a video where she repeatedly expressed her love for Jesus and her husband, calling him “honey.” This led hospital staff to affectionately refer to her as “honey” and a “JESUS lover,” which she finds humorous and uplifting.
Her doctor explained that the fibroids were linked to long-term chastity, and while she remains committed to promoting chastity, she now also advocates for early marriage. She plans to discuss this perspective more in the future.
Princess Jemaimah is preparing for fibroid surgery and believes that through it, God will complete her testimony. She asks for prayers and financial support, encouraging others not to give up, even in life’s hardest trials. She continues to serve God through evangelism, promoting purity in schools, and doing good works, maintaining that “GOD IS GOOD” despite the storms she faces.
While I was still unconscious and trying to wake up, my husband recorded a video of me, and all I kept saying was, “I love JESUS, I love my husband, honey, honey, honey…” Now, everyone in the hospital ward calls me “honey” and “JESUS lover.” I’m not sure whether to feel embarrassed or happy, but I’m just grateful that even in my unconscious state, after everything I’ve been through, my love for JESUS remains strong.
The doctor explained that the root cause of my situation is multiple fibroids, which developed in my womb due to long-term chastity. While I still firmly advocate for chastity, my message has shifted—I’m now also encouraging early marriage. We can dive deeper into this discussion at a later time.
