Taijaun Reshard, 22, has made a significant impact in the marketing industry. Recently, he and his business partner Drell sold a faceless Instagram account, @aitherevolution, for $110,000 within the thriving artificial intelligence sector, as reported by Black Business.
Just six months prior to the sale, their account had garnered over 700,000 followers and was generating between $5,000 and $10,000 or more each month.
An Atlanta native, Taijaun began monetizing Instagram at 17 by utilizing “theme pages” to showcase products on accounts with millions of followers, quickly helping them go viral, according to Black News. By the age of 20, he had already earned $250,000 through the platform.
Reflecting on his journey, Taijaun stated, “Everyone sees the success, but nobody knows the hard work behind it. I’ve been creating and running businesses since I was 15, starting as a high school freshman. When I got my first job at Kroger, I reinvested every penny into my business. After five failed ventures, here I am.”
He attended Georgia State University for only one semester before deciding to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions full-time. His mother, Yadilka Reyes, recognized his determination and consistently supported his entrepreneurial spirit.
“Big shoutout to my mom. If it weren’t for her belief in me, I don’t know where I’d be,” Reshard told ShoutOut Atlanta. “Growing up, she raised three kids on her own. There were times we had nothing, but she always found a way.”
He continued, “When I wanted to play sports but couldn’t afford it, she made it happen. When I said I didn’t want to go to school, she was among the few who stood by me and believed in me. My determination and mindset come from her.”
Now, Reshard teaches aspiring entrepreneurs how to build their social media brands and has nearly 500,000 followers on his @BlackWealth Instagram page. He also operates one of the leading Instagram training programs, Instagram Hacks University, aimed at helping 100 individuals earn their first $100,000 using Instagram, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
