Lagos Taskforce Confiscates Number Plates from 28 Illegally Parked Cars at Cubana Nightclub

On the night of Friday, October 4, the Lagos State Security Taskforce seized the number plates of 28 vehicles that were illegally parked outside Cubana nightclub.

Tokunbo Wahab, Lagos State Commissioner for Water and Environment, shared the update on X, confirming that the vehicle owners will face legal action. He stated:

“At around 1 a.m., the Lagos State Environmental/Security Taskforce carried out an enforcement operation during which the number plates of vehicles parked illegally in front of Cubana Nightclub, blocking traffic on Sobo Arobiodu Road, GRA Ikeja, were removed and confiscated.

A total of 28 number plates were taken from vehicles that violated Lagos State traffic laws at the scene.

The owners of these vehicles will be prosecuted in court.”
