R. Kelly’s Daughter Appears to Accuse Him of Inappropr!ate Behavior Towards Her as a Child in New Documentary Trailer (Video)

In a new documentary, one of R. Kelly’s daughters appears to suggest that the imprisoned singer exhibited inappropriate and deeply troubling behavior towards her during her childhood.

The trailer, which is circulating online, features R. Kelly’s children openly discussing their experiences with their father amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his actions.

His ex-wife, Drea Kelly, becomes emotional in the documentary, reflecting on the alleged harm he caused their children. “What he did to me, he did to me. He shouldn’t have done it to my damn kids,” she states.

A voiceover in the trailer condemns R. Kelly’s actions, saying, “What he has done to those kids, there are no words for it. He’s a monster.”

Joanne Kelly, also known as Buku Abi, hints at a painful childhood experience, tearfully saying, “He was my everything.” She continues, “For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe he could be… I never thought he would do something to me, even if he was a bad person.”

She further shares how a single moment “completely changed” her life, and vows to be honest with her own son, stating, “If my son asks questions, I will be as truthful as possible. I will not be taking my son to prison to meet his grandfather.”

Executive produced by Mann Robinson, the documentary is set for release on October 11th.

R. Kelly’s career took a major fall in 2019 following his arrest and subsequent convictions on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges involving the abuse of minors.
