“False and Misleading”: Police Dismiss Reports of Alleged Planned Attack on FCT University

The FCT Police Command has dismissed rumors of an alleged planned abduction at the University of Abuja Campus, which have been circulating on social media.

In a statement, FCT Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh described the reports as unfounded claims spread by rumor mongers aiming to incite unnecessary panic among residents and the university community.

“The Command reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents in the FCT. Adequate personnel and equipment have been deployed to enhance security, including at the University of Abuja.
