Ebonyi Police Arrest Car Wash Attendant for Stealing Customer’s Prado SUV
Operatives from the Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested a car wash attendant for absconding with a customer’s vehicle in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Nwokwu, allegedly took the Prado SUV belonging to the wife of former House of Representatives member Hon. Nwazunku a few weeks ago.
Daniel, a native of Ezza North Local Government Area, was apprehended in Anambra State while still in possession of the stolen vehicle.
He had been working at a car wash in Abakaliki where the theft occurred.
The quick arrest was made possible through the collaboration of the OC crack team of the Ebonyi State Police and the support of local citizens who rallied around the owner of the car wash during this challenging time.
Further investigations and legal proceedings are expected to follow.
