Kai Havertz is Among 10 Premier League Players Earning Higher Wages than Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe will receive a substantial signing bonus with his move to Real Madrid, but his weekly salary will be modest compared to several Premier League players. Nonetheless, the renowned forward is joining the 15-time European champions on a five-year contract. His official transition to the Spanish club is scheduled for July 1, following the end of his time with Paris Saint-Germain.

At 25, Kylian Mbappe made headlines with his decision to leave PSG after this season. As one of the most sought-after free agents and top strikers in the world, he is expected to receive a substantial signing-on fee, estimated to be between £80 million and £128 million. Despite this, his weekly post-tax earnings are projected to be £250,000, which is less than the salaries of up to ten Premier League players.

Leading the Premier League’s salary rankings is Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, who earns £400,000 weekly, closely followed by his teammate Erling Haaland at £375,000. The highest earners outside Manchester City are Manchester United’s Casemiro and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, each making £350,000 per week.

Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling and Romelu Lukaku, currently on loan at Roma, are reported to earn £325,000 weekly. Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish, along with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, follow with weekly wages of £300,000. Arsenal’s Kai Havertz rounds out the top ten earners at £280,000 per week.

Despite having a lower weekly wage, Kylian Mbappe is likely unconcerned due to his substantial signing bonus. His move to Real Madrid has been long anticipated, and he is set to join the club after Euro 2024. Mbappe expressed his joy about joining Real Madrid, describing it as the fulfillment of a dream and sharing his excitement about becoming part of the team he has always admired.
