The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Silas Daniel, a 17-year-old domest!c worker, accused of ass*ulting his employer’s children, aged five and ten.
The police stated that the case of defilement was transferred from the Dopemu Police Division to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja on October 10, 2024, around 2 PM.
The victims’ father reported that his domestic helper allegedly ass*ulted his five-year-old daughter and ten-year-old son while they were in his care at their home.
The complaint detailed that Daniel allegedly assaulted his son through the anus.
During questioning, the suspect confessed to the crime.
He was arraigned on Friday and remanded at the Special Correctional Center in Adigbe, Abeokuta, Ogun State, due to his age.
