Woman Who Was R*ped by her Therapist’ Who Said His ‘P*nis Absorbs Trauma’ Has Been Awarded £217,000

Ella Janneh sued therapist Michael Lousada, alleging that he r*ped her during a therapy session in August 2016, where he claimed his pen!s “absorbs trauma.” She has been awarded £217,000 in compensation as a result.

Following the Crown Prosecution Service’s decision not to pursue criminal charges, Ella Janneh initiated a civil claim against Michael Lousada for personal injury and negligence. In a recent court ruling, High Court Judge Mr. Justice Jeremy Baker affirmed that Janneh was unable to consent due to experiencing a severe dissociative panic attack during the alleged incident.

This established her basis for a “trespass to the person” claim. Janneh had initially sought treatment from Lousada in 2011 for panic attacks during sexual activity, which she believed stemmed from childhood abuse. Lousada had previously appeared as a guest on ITV’s This Morning.

In 2016, Ella Janneh attended a “body work” session with Michael Lousada, during which he allegedly likened his penis to “a laser beam.” Lousada’s legal representative argued in court that his practices were legitimate and that he had engaged in penile penetration with “30 to 40 clients.” Janneh opted to reveal her identity and dedicated her legal victory to all victims who felt dismissed by the police and the CPS. Despite the case’s outcome, Janneh expressed optimism that her public stance would encourage other survivors to come forward and share their experiences.
