Social critic Martins Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man, took to social media to address Bobrisky’s ridicule following the cross-dresser’s comments about VDM receiving N100 million from music producer Don Jazzy.
On Thursday, VDM announced that the music mogul had donated N100 million to his foundation, a revelation that caught many Nigerians off guard. In response, Bobrisky shared a video mocking VDM for soliciting donations from the public, despite having previously vowed not to accept money from anyone, especially celebrities.
In a video posted online this morning, VDM noted that Bobrisky’s mocking remarks suggest he is in good health and should therefore appear before the House of Representatives Investigation panel. Last month, Bobrisky had sent his lawyer to the panel, citing illness as the reason for his absence. VDM mentioned that the next hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 21, and emphasized that Bobrisky, looking healthy, must attend.
The lower chamber is investigating claims that Bobrisky paid the EFCC N15 million to have money laundering charges dropped and allegations that his godfather instructed the Comptroller General of Prisons to grant him a private apartment during his six-month sentence for Naira abuse.
