At Travis Scott’s recent concert at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, a fan encountered a terrifying health crisis after an alleged altercation with security. Video from the October 23 event, which has gained widespread attention on TikTok, shows a fan being “fly-kicked” by a security guard while attempting to cross from the seated area to the mosh pit before the show began. The footage reveals several fans trying to bypass security barriers to reach the standing section.
During the concert, part of Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour, multiple fans tried to breach security to join the mosh pit. While security managed to tackle some individuals, others forced their way through, leading Ambulance Victoria to report that five people required hospitalization.
The video captures two fans attempting to move from the seating area amid the mayhem. One fan was kicked by security and later seen convulsing on the ground, appearing to suffer a seizure. Security personnel held the fan as he shook, and medical staff later transported him via stretcher.
A Marvel Stadium representative told the Herald Sun they are reviewing the event with their security contractors. The spokesperson acknowledged “concerning footage” showing both unacceptable fan behavior and an incident involving security detaining a fan who needed medical help afterward. The representative added that most of the 55,000 attendees acted appropriately, though some were denied entry or ejected for misconduct.
An eyewitness told 9 News they saw the fan hit his head upon falling and then witnessed him seizing as a security guard tried to lift him, calling the incident unacceptable and saying it “shouldn’t happen.”
Travis Scott, 33, performed to the packed stadium and recently set the record for the highest concert attendance at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium. After his Melbourne performances, he continued his tour in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on October 26.
