Nigerian woman Progress Okuk recently shared a heartfelt story about her thoughtful daughter, who surprises her with gifts each time she pays her school fees.
“Every time I pay her tuition, my oldest daughter sends me a gift,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Friday after receiving a beautiful wig from her daughter.
“Last year, she filled my storeroom with food to last until Christmas. This time, she had this lovely hair with gorgeous bouncy curls delivered to me this morning.
Earlier this week, I thought about removing my blonde hair but wasn’t sure what to do next—I wanted new curly wigs but hadn’t mentioned it to anyone.
God truly answers even our simplest, unspoken wishes.
This gesture means so much to me, and I am deeply grateful. I feel blessed.”
