ISWAP Mil!tants Attack Yobe Town, B*rn Vehicles, and K!ll One

Suspected Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) insurgents launched an att*ck on Geidam town in Yobe State, resulting in the de*th of one individual.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, intelligence sources indicated that the assault took place at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The insurgents stormed the town, detonating explosives indiscriminately.

During the attack, two vehicles belonging to customs officials were set on fire. The att*ckers also desecrated the grave of Khalifah Ayiloma in the Kolori Ward.

One of the victims of the assault was Dahiru Muhammadu, a 60-year-old night watchman stationed near Geidam Polytechnic. Muhammadu was shot in the neck and rushed to Geidam Specialist Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injur!es.
