Exclusive Aerial Footage of the Great Pyramid of Giza Uncovers Hidden Inscriptions at its Peak.

A man who received special permission to paraglide over the Great Pyramid of Giza shared a little-known detail about the ancient structure. Despite being built around 4,600 years ago without modern machinery like cranes, much remains to be discovered about this iconic monument.

Yanis Terzis, a pilot and psychiatric administrator from Campinas, Brazil, had the rare chance to fly over the pyramid, revealing inscriptions at its summit. Using a paramotor—a paraglider-like craft with a fan for propulsion—Yanis captured the experience with a GoPro Hero 10 mounted on his helmet for safety.

Yanis enjoys adding adventure to his flights by soaring close to structures to film captivating footage, as he did over the pyramids and temples. This particular flight resulted in stunning videos that have amassed over 7 million views on YouTube.

With official approval, Yanis aimed to film extraordinary angles of the pyramids and temples. During his flight, he even brushed the top of the pyramids with his foot—an unforgettable moment for him.

Since most people only see the pyramids from ground level, Yanis pointed out that few are familiar with their summits. His video reveals “scriptures and graffiti” carved into the white stone at the top.

The breathtaking 4K footage gives viewers a fresh perspective, showcasing every detail of the monuments. The inscriptions are believed to be related to rituals and offerings to the gods.
