Manchester City defender Kyle Walker’s wife, Annie Kilner, is reportedly considering giving their troubled marriage another chance—on the condition that he pays her a substantial £15 million.
Annie, 32, is said to be seeking approximately half of Walker’s £27 million fortune after it was revealed he secretly fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman.
The couple, who share four children, have been attempting to repair their relationship over the past year. Annie has reportedly sought initial legal advice in preparation for a possible split, which could see her claim half of the £150,000-a-week footballer’s wealth.
A source told The Sun, “Things are a mess right now. Kyle and Annie are arguing about nearly everything. She’s made it clear she’ll only consider reconciliation if he gives her half of his money first.”
The insider added that Annie has been advised she is entitled to half of Walker’s assets in the event of a divorce and is determined to ensure that none of her share goes to Lauryn Goodman.
The couple has reportedly consulted solicitors to discuss a financial arrangement. Despite the ongoing conflict, Walker, who played for Manchester City in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle on Saturday, is reportedly supportive of ensuring Annie and their children have financial security.
The source noted that Annie is going through a tough time, contemplating divorce as she fears their marriage may be beyond saving.
Earlier this year, Walker was removed from the marital home after Lauryn informed Annie, just after Christmas, that he was the father of her second child, Kinara, as well as her older son, Kairo. Annie, pregnant at the time, was devastated by the news. While Walker was present for the birth of their fourth child, Rezon, the couple spent the summer living apart, with Walker moving into a Manchester apartment.
