PDP Chieftain ‘Crying on National TV’ After His Party’s Defeat in Edo Gubernatorial Election (Video)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ‘broke down in tears’ on national TV following their defeat in the Edo gubernatorial election held on Saturday, September 21.

APC’s Monday Okpebholor emerged victorious against his closest rival, Asue Ighodalo of the PDP, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaring him the winner on Sunday, September 22.

Emmanuel Odigie, Deputy Director of the PDP gubernatorial campaign council in the state, appeared on Arise TV this morning, where he expressed his disappointment over the election results. He accused the APC of rigging the election, noting that Nigerians had traveled from the U.S. to support his party’s candidate, only for their votes to be disregarded.
