Woman Receives Warning After Uncovering Hidden ‘Creepy’ Basement In Her 200-Year-Old House.

After an unsettling find stemming from a mysterious leak in her 200-year-old house, a woman has received a warning. TikTok user Mystee (@mysteeipong) used the video-sharing platform to chronicle the moment she and her husband uncovered a concealed area in their New York home.

Through a series of videos, the woman shared that she observed a leak with water accumulating from a random section in the basement. Mystee, along with her husband Ken, delved into the basement to uncover the intriguing history behind their discovery. Noting Ken’s family’s experience with eerie matters, she assured her followers that this background would prove helpful in understanding the find.

In a viral video posted last week, Mystee, who has a keen interest in history, shared her peculiar discoveries. This includes an enclosed door in her basement, concealing a room. Pointing to the door, she remarked, “You can even see a doorway around it” in the TikTok video. Despite their familiarity with such matters, the couple found themselves without the necessary tools to address this unusual situation.

“Fortunately, they are cinder blocks, so they are hollow on the inside. We managed to get through the first part, but the second part is proving challenging,” she explained. “The obstacle lies in the fact that this room is filled with rocks.” Following some research on the history of her home, Mystee speculated that the room might have been connected to a tunnel in the past.

“I had no idea that my house had connections to the Underground Railroad,” she revealed, noting, “We researched Clarkson, and indeed, just eight minutes away, there is a station.”

Viewers inundated the comments section of the TikTok video, expressing a mix of spooked reactions and fascination. Some recommended the couple involve a professional to assist with their discovery. A commenter shared, “I have never been so creeped out and invested at the same time.”

Another comment stated, “Am I the only one who thinks that room is sealed off for a reason?” A third person remarked, “Bro used the smallest tools possible.” Someone else advised, “Keep the sage burning, there’s no telling what will be released from there.” The final user humorously noted, “Bricked-in room in a 200-year-old house—that’s the plot to MOST ’80s horror movies lol.”
