Back in the year 1881, a ship known as The Ellen Austin sailed from Liverpool England, heading for New York. The ship carried many passengers who were emigrating to the United States. Several weeks into the journey, the captain decided to take an unplanned shortcut. This shortcut led Ellen close to the Bermuda Triangle. When they got close to the Bermuda Triangle, the captain sighted another ship that was moving erratically. After taking a closer look, he discovered that the ship had been abandoned.

The Captain was smart enough to think that he was moving into some sort of trap, so he kept safe for two days before sending members of his crew to go and investigate why the other ship was not responding to their calls. His crew found out that the unnamed ship had already been abandoned but they couldn’t find any reasonable excuse why the crew of that ship would abandon their ship.

Captain Griffin of the Ellen Austin Ship, ordered members of his crew to sail that ship along with their ship to New York. Shortly after they started sailing, a huge storm separated both ships and when the Captain took a look at the ship once again, he discovered that it had been abandoned again with to trace of his crew and no reasonable damage on the ship.

Too scared to go to the ship to check what had happened, the Captain continued his journey to New York. The ship and the missing members of his crew were never found.

This was a massive 23 feet luxury cruiser that vanished on the 22nd day of the month of December, 1967. The owner of this cruiser had invited his friends out to the ocean to enjoy the beautiful view of the Christmas lights of Miami. Their plan was to go on a short distance into the ocean, switch off the engine of the cruiser and enjoy the view.

When it was 9pm that night, coastguards of Miami received a distress call that the boat ran into something in the ocean and would need to be towed back to the shore. The owner of the cruiser assured the coastguards that it wasn’t an emergency, that they would fire a flare to let the coastguards know the exact location of the boat. The coastguards arrived the location 20 minutes later but there was no sign of the cruiser or any flair. Nobody ever saw the cruiser or any of the passengers again.

This is one of the most popular and mysterious Bermuda Triangle disappearance. After flying into the skies, the crew started running into a series of problems. One of the lieutenants reported that his compass was malfunctioning. The weather increasingly got worse. For no reason, the pilot started flying to the wrong direction, even when his crew members opposed him, he insisted that he was flying in the right direction. As he flew further away from land, their transmission became fainter.

The flying boats went out to search for the 13 crewmen and 5 pilots of flight 19 but no wreckage or missing person was found.

1) Great Isaac Lighthouse

This is much different from the other disappearances that you have read about. This is because the lighthouse keepers were not on water when they mysteriously disappeared. The lighthouse had only two inhabitants in it which were its keepers.

On the 4th day if August, some men were sent with a small boat to check the lighthouse because no calls had been answered from the lighthouse for a while. On arrival, the investigators discovered that the lighthouse was empty with no sign of the two men who used to live there. A hurricane had passed through the island earlier but what was even more mysterious is that there was no damage on the house from the hurricane.

Some people believed that they were either kidnapped or something else happened, but there was no sign of foul play to back up their claims. This disappearance remains a mystery that no one has been able to solve. This is not the first time that lighthouse keepers have mysteriously disappeared, but this is certainly the weirdest of them all
