Fast Nigerian singer Mohbad has reportedly passed away. According to popular Nigerian blog, Instablog9ja, the singer is no more. They said that they confirmed the news from his best friend.
Per the report by entertainment journalist Ovie on X, the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter tragically passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
However, at the moment of this report, the cause of his passing remains undisclosed.
Before his unfortunate demise, Mohbad was previously affiliated with Naira Marley’s ‘Marlian Records’ but parted ways with the label in 2022. He was widely recognized for his popular hit singles, including ‘Ponmo,’ ‘Feel Good,’ and ‘KPK (Ko Por Ke),’ produced in collaboration with Rexxie, which earned him three nominations at The Headies awards in 2022.
